Dunedin. 25th Novomber. A child named Thomas M'Cubbin,_ twoyears old, wa» drowned in the Waitati yesterday, having evidently fallen into tho rivor r which is 20 yards from tho parents' house. A fish hawker named Georgo Smith died, in tho Hospital to-day from in juries received by falling out of his cart can Friday last. Ho hod been in poor health', ttwi had told his. son, who found him on ther roadside, that ho had beoome dizzy and fell out. Death is supposed to havo been causeu tT the bursting of a blood-vessel in the subs. I ** ll^ °-* thu | brain.
