Accidents and Fatalities.
[By Tflegbaph.l [united pekbs association. I Wansantji, This Dat. A young 1 man named Lett was killed by the fall of a tree while bush felling on Saturday. Aninquoat is to be held to-day. Auckland, This Day. Ernest Driver, who injured himself on the 14th inst. by diving into four feet of water at the Saltwater Baths, died on Saturday from concnssion of the brain. Riohard How'arth, 'of Onehunga, was seriously injured on Saturday afternoon by falling from the front platform of a tramoar in Symonds-street. He was rendered unoonscious, and blood was found to be oozing from his ears. He was removed to the Hospital, and is progressing favourably. The dead body of a child was found on the beach, near Judge's Bay, Parnell, on Saturday afternoon. The body was clothed in two calico gowns, wrapped in a woman's petticoat, and tied in an old sngar bag. It had evidently been in the water some time, as decomposition ' had set in. It had apparently drifted with the tide, as it was found at high.- water mark. There is no clue to the parents.
