The Sutherland Falls Expedition.

Mr. , Adams, Chief Surveyor, and party returned from Milford Sound this morning, the expedition having been a great success. The Sutherland Falls aro 1904 feet high, and are a grand sight. Tho overland route from Te Anau to the Sound was discovered by Mr. MoKinnon, surveyor, and Mr. Mitohcll, of the Mauapouri Station, who suffered (jreat privations and hardships.
