Reported Eruption of Ruapehu. [By Telegraph.] [UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Taupo, 18th May.
During the past week several residents of Tapuaehararu, 50 miles distant from Ruapohu have witnessed at intervals immonso volumos of steam issuing from tho summit of the mountain, which is at present one mass of snow. The steam seemed to riso out of tho side of the orator, which, tho Natives say, has boen regarded as extinct from timo immemorial.
