Calcutta, 19th May. An offielil statement has been made that Yakoob Khan has agreed to the satisfactory basis of a treaty. The Vice-regal Council of India has been summoned to-day to consider the articles. Bombay, 19th May. Very serious incendiary fires have recently taken place at Poonah. The motives for the outrages remain undiscovered. Alarming reports, generally current, of robbery by a gang in parts of tho Presidency of Bombay, are seriously occupying the attention of the Government and the public.
