Russia threatens to intervene between England and Afghanistan, in consequence of the occupation of. Quettah by England. The advance of the British forces in Afghanistan continues unchecked. 29th November. The committees entrusted with the arrangements for the Exhibition, to be held at Sydney, have held some important meetings. Applications from continental exhibitors for space are numerous and increasing.
