♦ Another meeting of Mr R. Heatoti Khodes committee was held at Leeston last Friday. Mr W. McMillan occupied the chair, and there N* was a large attendance. Mr H. D. Buchanan also attended, and explained what had been done by the committees m his district. The name of Mr J. Chamberlain was withdrawn from the Lakeside committee at his own request. The following additions to the various committees were made :— Lakfeside, Mr A. McPherson ; Doyleston, Mr H H Cook ; If well, Mr T Stephens; Leeston^ Messrs H. M. Hay, . David Lochhead and A. Webster ; Southbridge, Messrs Walter Lochhead and Wm. Gilbert. The following delegate^ "were appointed to meet the Little River— Akaroa delegates at Christchurch at a date, to be notified later :— Leeston, Messrs P Chamberlain, A. Webster, and H. Neave. Southbridge, Messrs T B Howson, J Storry, and E J Cowan. Killinchy, Messrs TTolerton, Geo McClure, and *Wm. Nixon. Irwell, Messrs F Coe, T Stephens, and Wm , Young. Doylestoi), Captain Dixon, E.M.R., Messrs H H Cook and A. \- McLachlan. Lakeside, Messrs J. Lochhead, J H McPherson, and Jas Lambie. Messrs Frank Coe and H Neave were on the motion of Mr Howson authorised to form a ladies' committee..
