(From Our Own Correspondent) Women’s Patriotic... t The monthly meeting of the Women’s Patriotic Committee was held, as usual, on the third Wednesday, when a very interesting demonstration of toy making was given by Mrs JasBeck. A large case of clothing was packed for refugees, and it is to he sent to Greece. Most of the knitted garments sent were made from locally home spun wool. The weekly Euchre Parties are still well attended. The winners this week were Mrs CLott and Mr Snowden Lott, Mr C Brady has taken up his duties at the Railway in place of Mr Keane, who has gone into Camp.
