The annual meeting of the Cl> de-Earnscleugh Football Club took place in the Town Hall on Friday night. There was a record muster, over forty being present, Mr J Wing presided. The balance-sheet, which was read and adopted showed a credit balance of £l4. The election of office-bearers resulted as undei:— President, Mr J WF g; VicePresidents: J. O’C onnell, Powley, C. J. Spain, G. James, H, E, Stevens, W. Wheatland, and W. K. George Secretary and Trea urer; C J Hanning Jr. Committee: Messrs C. McGinnis W.Gye, J Davidson, Annan, Dr Brokenshire, Holdom, and Gillies. Club Captain : W. B Hepburn Selectors, A. Grade, Dr Brokenshire, and Mr J Wing. Delegates to Sub Union, Dr Brokenshire, and Mr Wing Selectors, B Grade—Messrs H. Stevens and J. Wing. An effort is being made to get a visiting team for Easter
MATAKANUI CLUB.
The Annual general meeting of the Matakanui Football Club was held at Matakanui on Thursday 27th March. The president Mr H. G. Wilson, presided over a large and enthusiastic gathering. The balancesheet was adopted as read. The following are the officebearers for the ensuing season: Patron : Mr W. A Bodkin M-P. re-elected) President : Mr H. G. Management Committee: Messrs P. Moran, J. Clouston, W. Wilson, F. Donnelly, F. Wilson, S. Drake, J. L. Truesdale, A. Scoular, J Donnelly, F. Perkins, E. Huddleston, A. Alexander, O. Glassford, VV. Clouston, J. Moran, C Drake, G. MartinSocial Committee: VV. Uiouston J. White, J. Moran, A. Alexander, S. Drake and Secretary Auditor : Mr T. Duggan, (reelected). Club Captain: Mr P. Moran (reelected). Selectors : H. G- Wilson, T. Duggan, and captains of both teams. Gate-keepers; G. Martin, J. Arnold. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to the ladies for their valuable support during the last season, especially to tho?e who assisted at the annual Ball. It was decided to enter a senior and a junior team in the Vincent County Sub-uuion Football Competition. There is every indication of two strong teams being fielded.

At the annual meeting of tjie above held at Raafurly on Wednesday last, there were present: Messrs J. I. Fraser (chairman), H. Blakely, VV. Bulmau, C. E Gibb, A. Aitchison, J McGill, G. Howell and F. McKnight. The election of office-bearers resulted as under : President, Mr J. I. Fraser (re-elected) ; vicc-pres dents, Messrs J. McGill, and F- McKnight ; secretary, Mr John Mitchell; Management Committee—Messrs G Howell. Aich.es,op, C Gibb, Blakely, Bulman, R. Young, and W. Howell.
Selectors Senior grade, Messrs A. Aitchison, T. Lynch and A Gregory ; the appointment of selectors for the junior grade was held over,. Emergency Committee Messrs Gibb Aitchison and Fraser
Delegate to O.R.F U. —Mr McGill. Opening day was fixed for Saturday, April 26th The secretary was instructed to apply to the U K-F. C for footballs for all schools in the sub-uuiop’s *rpa. It was decided to hold the monthly meetings of the Management Committee on the second Tuesday of each month. The first meeting would bo held on Tuesday, April 15th, at 7 30 p.m. An application from the 8t Bathans Club for permission to enter a team in the second gra,d,c porp Petition was granted.
