WEDDING BELLS.

A wedding of local interest took place at the Becks Presbyterian Church on Feb. 17tb, when the Bev. G. H. Crockett united in the bonds j of matrimony, Beatrice Mable, only daughter of Mr and ?Mrs W. HowJobnsof Becks, to Wilson, second son of Mr aud the late Mrs H. Hull of Alexrodra. The bride „wbo was given away by her father, wore an ivory georgette frock with triangle lace insets, laee and georgette semi flared skirt. A handsome embroidered circular veil was held in place with a coronet of orange blossom. White satin slippers were worn and » boquet of cream roses and asparagus completed an attractive toiletteThe bridesmaid, Miss Alsace Howjohus of St Kilda, Dunedin, was beautifully dressed; in Lavender georgette, and Miss Boma Tobill of Galloway made a charming little flower girl in lavender frilled skirt with a tight fitting bodice, both carrying shower boquets of lavender and cream. As the bride entered the church Mrs W. Koid of Kanfurly gave a beautiful rendition of the hyms ’‘How Welcome was the Call" and also the wedding March, The bridegroom’s present to the bridesmaid was a gold signet ring and the bride’s present to the flower girl was a gold armlet.
