DUNSTAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL.

The usual monthly meeting of the Gommittee of Management was heldin the "Committee room, Town Hall, Clyde, on Mondayevening last the 14th instant. Present:—VV. L. Simpson, Esq., Vice President, in the<Chair, and Messrs Naylor, Attfield, Cambridge, Auckland, Holt, J. E. Stevens, Treasures, and G. Eache, Secretary. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The inward correspondence was read and received. The Visiting Committee reported that 'they had visited the Institution several times during the month and had had small necessary repairs executed. The Visiting Committee’s No. 2 report recommending payment of accounts for salaries and supplies for the month of October, amounting to -L57 14s 2d, and tor November, LSO 4s 6 was read and adopted. An account from the Corporation for rent ■of water for the half year 'ending June 30, was laid on the table. Mr -Paohe -objected to the account'being passed, he said the understanding was that the Corporation would give the amount as a donation, and he thought the account should have been sent in receipted. After some discussion it was decided to pass the account forpayment, and the Secretary was instructed to write to the 'Council, asking for the amount to bo returned as a donation.
