INVERCARGILL.
September 26. A young man named James Gobbe was committed for trial at the next sitting of the Supreme Court for stealing a trunk containing articles worth £.50, the property of G. Bachelor, the manager of a troupe of minstrels. The trunk was taken frbm the Queen's Theatre in Dunedin in November last. The body of the man Brown, reported as missing, was found on Saturday in New river.
