Yodno.— Tlio bankrupt appeared to pasu his final examination and to apply for his diicbarge. — Mr. 'J'yler opposed on he-half of Hyan, Bell, and (Jo., the principal orediton in the estato — Mr. Macdonald and Mr. Brmsey, for bankrupt. The lutlnlitics were £589 3d. 7d., and the asactH, whiuh had been tet down at £302 17s. 6 I , when Hold, realised £108. — Mr. Macdonald explained that the application which bad Icon ma'1o to remove the trustee had boon withdrawn by the other side, but ho wished to explain as a ■tatement had appeared in tho paporn tint it Wii on account of devastation of the estate that that term wan only used in a technical ■enae. Tho devaluation only amounted to the fact that Mr. Macllarlane had incurred lome legal expenues, but by doing ho he had augmented the estate to a considerable extent. Tho bankrupt wai then examined. He |>a«sed hm final examination, and Mr. Macdonald then appliod for hu diHchar^e. — Mr. TyUr opposed on the ground that the bankrupt'* statement showed that Ihb liabilities bad gon« on increasing and that he had delayed tiling. He also oppoied on the ground that the bankrupt had not kept proper books, and on the general ground that the bankrupt had incurred liabilities which he bad no reasonable hopes of beinu able to liquidate. — The Court suspended hiu certilioate for threo montha.
