MEETING'S OF SHAREHOLDERS.
A MEfcTis fi of the shareholders iv the Golden Belt was held, on Wednesday, at Jones's Albion Hotel, Coromandel. Their energetic . secretary, Mr. JL Harrison, was in the chair. The chairman in his opening remarks congiatnlated his fellow proprietors upon the present satisfactory position of their property, owing to the admirable way in wbioh the mine bad been worked since it had been under the management of Mr. Pidgeon. The accounts were then gone mto, and all ordered to be p.Md ; the liabilities, amounting to upwards of AISO, wore allowed ; and a dividend declared of £(J 15s. yevt ull share.
