PROPOSED BOILING-DOWN ESTABLISHMENT.
A meeting of the committee appointed to make the preliminary arrangements in forming a company having in view the erection of a boiling-down establishment on the banks of the Tamaki was held on Saturday torenoon, in the British Hotel ; Mr. James Eunciman, the convener, in the chair. The chairman, brought up the draft prospectus in which the amendments suggested at a former meeting were embodied ; and, being road, the prospectus was agreed to. It was then moved, seoonded, and carried, that the committee draw up a general report Upon the question, and submit it to the next monthly meeting of the New Zealand Agricultural Society. A vote of thanks to the chairman being passed, the meeting separated.
