THE CIRCUS.
The circus was again crowded last night, when the performances were of a most attractive character. Messrs. Bird, Murray, Salavario/Vertelli, and the other members of the company kept up the interest of 1 the entertainment, without any flagging during the whole evening. We have never yet mentioned the feats of Lilliputian Charlie, a young horseman of great promise, who furnishes one of the best parts of the programme — his feats being much admired. The performance concluded with " Dick Turpin'a ride to York," in which, however, the horse proved rather refractory, persisting kicking at the most inconvenient seasons and sending its bearers flying in all directions*
