The Government had the subjeot under consideration, but he would request the hon. memoer not to presa for a more definite answer.— Mr. Fitzherbert said that when iv England he was incomunioation with Colonel Maude on the subjeot, and informed his colleagues of what had taken place. He believed that if encouragement were given a veiy valuable cl&^s of settleis of this kind might be introduced.
