Tb« "Waterman' arrived this afternoon with a cargo from Clarence River. The auction sale of Mauritius sugars this morning attracted but a poor attendance of buyers, and of the 7,609 bags, ex •Margaret' and 'Victory,' offered, only 1,654 could be disposed of at prices showing a decline on browns and yellows ; giey crystals, however, about held their own ; rations l palled 29s 9d to 30s ; low yellows, 32s 9d to 33s 9i ; middling to good yellows, 35s 6d to 38s ; and 37« 6d to 38a for grey crystals. A parcel of 10 o. p. rum, R.WP. brand, was quitted at 3s 4id. Twenty hogsheads Whifcbread'e stout were sold to am»e, at £6 17s 6d. Twenty tona hoop iron met with a. purchaser at » satisfactory price.
