OTAGO.
The Otago Daily Times of the 13th says :— The week opened with very little doing in the import market!, and without much amendment in other respects, traders' orders keeping small, and outside demand remaining unusually limited. Today we cannot note a better inquiry for any of the staples, or report anything of interest in the saleß made. Prices, however, are well maintained, evidencing the general iunprpssion that the extreme dulness of the past few weeks will give place to a better trade. The produce market is firm at present values, but at the moment a demand for shipment is not so great. Quotationo remain as ftt the close of the previous week. There has been nothing moving in the auction marts.
