Advices from California reach to April 28, when there were no vessels loading, and none had sailed for Australia. Wheat of choice shipping quality was quoted at 1 dollar 55 cents to 1 dollar 574 cents P er oental, and there was very little demand for export. The prospects of the coming crop were such as to indicate an immense surplus. — Melbourne Age, July 8.
