The Press of May 30 says ;— In the breadstuff's market, flour is stationary at £20 to £22 per ton for superfine silk-dressed. Wheat is also stationary at 6a 6d, although little is changing hands at that figure, the majority of holders asking 7s. Several fine samples of seed wheat have been sold at 7s 2d. Barley commands little attention, ap the bulk ,of the samples offering are unfit for malting purposes. Oats are firmer ; we < now quote feed at 2s. The open weather has greatly injured the sale of hay; best meadow quality can be bought (delivered in town) for £3 16s, and rye-grass hay for £3 ss. Potatoes maintain late of £3 15a to £4.
