Hydes. — Market has been very quiet, only a small part of the Australian offered was disposed of at a further reduction of Is. Bd. per B>. Leather. — Australian is still very quiet. Best, former prices are suj^ported. Dark, a trifle cheaper. Tallow. — The market has been veiy dull, and the trade holding off. Prices are now generally 6d. to Is. per cwt. under last month. Oils. — Linseed has been dull the price is i now 295. on the spot. Whalebone, ex Centurion, from 'Sydney, sold at .£385 per ton. Metals. — The iron market remains dull. Burra Bum, Copper is held for £104 per ton. Spirits. — Business done moderate, all descriptions. Sugar market dull, and decline from Is. to 2s. per cwt. Coffee. — Good and fine ordinary selling at 645.
