BRITISH-AMERICAN TRADE TALKS
(Received October 27. 1.45 a.m.) WASHINGTON, October 26.
The British Cabinet is considering proposals resulting from the British-Ameri-can financial negotiations which have been proceeding here for the past seven weeks, says the “New York Times” correspondent. Informed circles say that the proposals include a loan of 4,000.000.000 dollars on a 50 years’ basis at 2 per cent, interest and the establishment of an international trade organization providing for a reciprocal lowering of tariffs by Britain and America.
