RANGIORA REHANDICAPS
Dominion Special Service. CHRISTCHURCH, October 19. Rout’s rehandicap in the Hororata Hack Handicap at Rangiora was omitted from the acceptances. His weight was raised from 8.11 to 9.1. Similarly Weld Cona s weight in the Highweight Hack Handicap should be 9.11, not 9.6, and his weight in the Amberley Hack Handicap should be 8.12. , J . Saint Joachim was rehandicapped from 7.11 to 8.5 in the Hororata Hack Handicap following his win at Washdyke, but one of the conditions of the North Canterbury programme provides that the winner of any handicap after the declaration of handicaps may be rehandicapped. The Spring Stakes, won by Saint Joachim was a set weight race and was not a handicap. The Trial Plate at the North Canterbury Racing Club's meeting on Monday has 20 acceptors and as the safety limit at the six furlongs post is 19 provision has been made to run the race in two divisions as follows:— TRIAL PLATE, of £lOO. Six furlongs.— First division: Baffling,- Centime, Dawii Attack, Fortitude, King Burn, Lady Law, Lawless, Miss Molly, My Sonnet, Racket, Siegwood, Sir Tague, Tlkakoura. 8.7. Second division: Cataract, Cinderella, Drummer Boy, Good Friend, Koa Manu, Lalla Meer, Lelghmond,. Miss Myra. Peculate, Ration, Simon Tor, Surama, Twelve Pointer, 8.7. Brackets: Sir Tague and Surama; Tikakoura and Twelve Pointer.
