SOVIET VIEWS ON WAR
LONDON, September 27. Direct radio telephone communication between Moscow and London was opened today. Reuters Moscow correspondent took advantage of the opening service to answer questions put to him by his London office. He said : “The Russians do not reckon the end of the war in weeks or even in months. They are most concerned about the Germans this time being well and truly beaten. The Germans are hated in Russia as in few parts ot ravaged Europe. The enemy’s burning executions have created real hatred. The Russians are looking to collaboration with Britain and America to establish permanent peace with economic and material reconstruction.”
