Complaint By Leader Of National Party
A complaint of further interference with his correspondence was made by the Leader of the National Party, Air. Holland. in his address in AVelliugtou last night. Referring tv the previous case some months ago, when a letter sent by him to his private secretary in AVellington was opened, Air. Holland said he could now tell the audience what it contained. “It was a draft of the policy of the National Party that was opened.” f.nid Air. Holland. “Only yesterday,” added Mr. Holland, “the chief postmaster in one of the centres delivered a letter to my secretary addressed to me from Palmerston North, and it had been opened, too.”
