Mr. J. E. Wallace

The death is reported from, Apia ol Mr. .James E. Wallace, aged <B. lie airived in Samoa in lJll> with the relict force and served till the termination ol (be Great War. attaining the rank ol lieutenant. He returned to New Zealand n. In every movement associated with the town's progress lie took an active interest, and he was a member of numerous local bodies, including the Auckland Harbour Board, the Hamilton Licensing Benell, Hie beautifying society, the high school board of governors, the technical higli school board of managers.
