MANY MALTA RAIDERS TURNED BACK
(British Oflictnl Wireli-s-i RUGBY, August 11. Enemy bombers attacked Malta on Monday night, but. Jess than half reached their objective. There was some damage to property nnd one person was injured. On 'Tuesday morning fighters attempted a sweep over the island, but were intercepted by Spitfires. In the afternoon reconnaissance pianos appeared over the island.
