Germany’s War Aims RUGBY, August IL The; Reich Propaganda Minister, Dr. Goebbels, in a speech last night, stressed the selfishness and the materialistic outlook of the German war aims. He said that Germany’s most ardent desire was to end the war so that the Germans could enjoy the results <>t their conquests. They were fighting the war for grain and bread, for fully-laden tables, and for materials to supply the people with cars, tractors, cinemas, etc.
