AT NATIONAL CLUB

Many helpers at the National Club looked after the welfare of a large crowd of guests from the Fighting Services at the weekend. On at the National Union’s tea dance. Misses Josephine Russell and Margaret Cooper were conveners, and they were assisted by the Misses Ruth Pavitt, Peg Bryon, Sydney and Joan Vander Bergh, Nola McDougall, Hazel Harcourt, Betty Lloyd, and M. K. Kupli. Miss J. Mason was kitchen convener with, the Misses E. Clifford and M. L. Smith as helpers. Yesterday Wellington south electorate members were in charge, with Mrs. J. H. Mcllroy as convener. Her helpers were Mesdanies A. S. Morley, J. W. Collins, V. H. Dunford, F. T. Beales, M. E. Chatfield, V. Brown, Misses B. Collins, Peggy Cooper, Jean Wilkinson.
