CINDERELLAS BUSY
Bright entertainment was provided for men of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, at the Cinderella Club during the weekend. The popular informal evening on Friday was well patronized. Miss Olive Fordham was in charge of games and dancing. The clubrooms were again open on Sunday afternoon and evening, and a delicious homemade tea" was dispensed by Misses Kath Crist. Ella Caller wood, and helpers. After tea, games were played, and Mrs. Allen’s swing baud provided music for those in a dancing mood. Other members on duty were Misses Nell Burns, D. Stilwell, S. Riggs, M. Alexander, J. Alien, M. Atkinson, and J. Cole.
Levin Home Gift Tea. In the absence of the president, Miss Archibald, the vice-presidents of the Levin Memorial Home, Miss Greenwood and Mesdames Willoughby and Gillespie, will receive her Excellency Lady Newall, when she arrives to open the home’s annual “gift afternoon” tomorrow at 3 o’clock. Friends of the home are warmly invited to attend. The children will present a programme and well-stocked stalls have been arranged.
A boon to housewives at holiday time is the Ideal Bag Wash which collects the laundry, washes, irons, airs it; and delivers ready for use. Telephone 63-000. —Advt.
