FAREWELL TEA PARTY

Mrs. Love Guest Of E.S.U. Yesterday morning a number of members of the English-speaking Union gathered at a tea party in honour of Mrs- E. T. W. Love, Ariki-eleet of Rarotonga, who is leaving the Dominion shortly for her own country. Colourful spring flowers were arranged about the big reception room, and Mrs. Love was presented with a fragrant bouquet. Guests were received by Mrs. K. I’reston, vice-president of the ■women’s executive, who made a brief speech of welcome and tribute to the guest of honour. The guests included Mrs. E. D. Good, president of the women’s executive, and several of Mrs. Love’s personal friends among the Maori people.
