MAYORESS PRESIDES
Certificates Presented To V.A.D/s
Women members of the St. John Nursing Division held their annual meeting In the Wesley Hall, Lower Hutt, recently. The mayoress, Mrs. J. IV. Andrews, presided, and after presenting the V.A.D. certificates to successful members who had completed their hospital training, congratulated the division on its successful year. Mrs. Russell, lady district officer, spoke on the satisfactory report and balance-sheet. Officers and representives of the Hutt Valley Corps and Hutt Valley Railway and Petone Ambulance Divisions were present. Mrs. Fuller, in thanking Mrs. Andrews for her help and interest, presented her with a bouquet.
The hygiene class which commenced recently was well attended and the keen interest shown in the work pointed to an indication of another successful year.
