GARDEN PARTY IN WADESTOWN
The weather last Saturday was ideal for the annual garden party held by the Ladies’ Association, Wadestown Presbyterian Church, Wellington, a Mr E, Cook’s residence. Mrs. Doctor, president of tlie association, received the many visitors and the party wars formally opened by the veteran minister. the Bev. J. H. McKenzie. The music of the Boys’ Institute Silver Band, with costume dancing by MisseMollv Cook, Winnie Male, Barbara Basham and Ethel Curtis, provided enjovable entertainment during the afternoon. A clock golf competition was run by Mr. J. Craig and the cake, produce and flower stalls did good bu.i ness.
