FOR COMMERCE QUEEN CAUSE
A very successful bi-ing-aud-buy afternoon was held on Tuesday in the Wellington Gas ComjAmy’s demonstration rooms. The effort was arranged by the Townswomen’s Guild in aid of the Retailers’ Grecian “Princess,” Miss Angela Marcelles. Mrs. Haldane conducted the event in conjunction with the shop she has opened for the sale of goods donated to the campaign. The support of the Gas Company in lending its rooms contributed greatly to the success of the effort.
