LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS
At a meeting ol tlie Greater \\eiling’ ton Ratepayers* and Citizens’ Election Committee this week, plans were considered for the campaign in support ol a -citizens’ ticket” for candidates standing for election to the city council the harbour board and the hospital board. Nominations from possible candidates are being received by the committee. It is expected that a final announcement ot selected candidates for a complete ticket for the mayoralty, city council, hospiia* board and harbour board will be mail'* soon.
