HOME GUARD ACTIVITIES
Island Bay.—A public meeting, tireceded bv a march through the suburb with a band in attendance, is being arranged by the Island Bay Unit of the Home Guard, with the object of attracting more members. Linder the able instruction now available, good progress is being made in the elementary training, and all members are looking lorward to the more advanced field training.
