Vigorous lighting marked tlie sixth day of the local Greek offensives in Albania, especially in the central sector, where the Greeks increased their tally of successes against strongly fortified and stubbornly held positions.

The Italians are rushing up reinforcements in an attempt to stem tlie Greek advance, but the Greeks captured a stronghold nearly (1000 feet high. The Greek Press Ministry described this and other captures as highly important. The Italian casualties continue to be abnormally high. The’Ankara radio stated that Greek pressure in Albania is still increasing, and it is reliably reported that it has rendered the 11th Italian Army literally unusable. A Greek communique states: "There have been strong local engagements. New enemy positions wore occupied and about 100 prisoners captured. Our air force successfully bombed and machine-gunned objectives on the battlefield. All our aircraft returned.”
