BRAILLE CLASSES TO RE-OPEN
Classes in Braille will start again on Monday next, at 2 p.m., in the Red Cross Rooms, 61 Dixon Street, Wellington. Instruction in Braille is an intei’Gsting and valuable study aud Liualities one to render helpful service to the blind It is specially important that those blind, or suffering failing vision, should equip themselves with the knowledge. Experience has proved that with normal powers of assimilation a person can gain a practical working acquaintance with the subject in one course of lessons. Enrolments are being taken now at Red Cross Office, telephone 52-574.
If your varnisheif furniture has become finger-marked, the marks may be removed if rubbed with a soft cloth which has been moistened with sweet oil.
