WAR CASUALTIES
Deaths From Sickness The following casualties to the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force have been reported;—Private John Henry Powell Calson, died of sickness, January 16, 1941. Mother: Mrs. J. P. Calson, 19 Boston Terrace, Wellington. Sergeant Charles John Herbert, died of sickness, February, 1941. Son: Charles Herbert, 5 Rotherham Street, Riccarton, Christchurch. The following air casualty was also announced :— Flying Officer Samuel Janies Millen, D.F.C., now reported missing,- believed killed. Father: Mr. S. G. A. Millen, 18 Peakes Road, St. Johns Hill, Wanganui. Pilot. (Jilicl-i- Milieu, later promoted to Flying Officer, was previously reported missing in June of last year. He was later reported safe and returned to duty. He was then awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, and in December was again reported missing.
