RANGATIRA REACHES DUNEDIN
Hole In Hull Concreted Before Voyage (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, December 30. The interisland express steamer Rangatira 0 which ran aground in Pigeon Bay, Banks Peninsula, on. Sunday mornirig, arrived at Dunedin at 10.10 p.m. from Lyttelton. The voyage down the coast was accomplished in line weather and without incident, though it was found necessary to keep the pumps working continuously. She will go into dock on Wednesday for a survey- of structural damage, after which the necessary repairs will be undertaken. Before the vessel left Lyttelton this morning a hole in the hull had been concreted as a .temporary measure to minimize the leak.
