44-Hour Week Proposed Dominion Special Service. HASTINGS, June IS. A. recommendation that legislation be introduced, purely as a war-emergency measure, for the substitution of the 40hour week with a 44-hour week is to lie forwarded by tile Hastings Chamber of Commerce to the Associated Chambers for representations to be made to the Governnient.
