LECTURE RECITAL BY MISS ANDRE BEVIN
Miss Andre Bevin gave another lecture recital at. the Lyceum Club, Wellington, on Friday night. She gave very charming interpretations of traditional British music in song, tracing the English and Celtic origins of her numbers in an interesting talk. The large audience, which tilled the clubroom, was very appreciative and tlioroughlj- enjoyed the recital.
Miss Bevin wore a frock of Ilowered moire silk with matching shoes. Some very beautiful flowers were presented to her at the conclusion of the recital. Mrs. Ina Stephens was an able accompanist, and also played two very line solos. She wore a frock of blue lace.
