TENNIS CLUB PARTY

The Wellington Technical Tennis Club's pavilion was filled with members and their friends on Saturdayevening, when the men’s committee entertained. at a Christinas party. The pavilion was gaily decorated for the festive season, and the club orchestra provided excellent music. A very .popular feature of the evening was the “Chaos Ballet,” performed by six men members of the club; their costumes were a feature of the performance. Other popular items during the evening included a medley of modern dances, a charade, and novelty games, and a snowball dance added an additional festive atmosphere. A savoury supper was served, which, by its excellence, amazed the ladies’ committee. A very successful evening was- brought to an end with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.” The committee responsible for the successful evening included Messrs. C. It. Lyon (M.C.), L. G. Carr. W. I. Gibson, J. Maybury, G. S. Roberts, and G. Fowler.
