“One of the most pleasing features of the season has been the entry of the Training College team in the first B division competition this year,” said Mr. J. Meltzer, chairman of the management committee of the Wellington Football Association, at a meeting of club officials last night. Mr. Meltzer said that the decision that the association's official coach, Mr. J. R. Sheffield, should play for the team bad had a marked effect for good and the game was now so firmly entrenched in the Training College that its effect on the game generally must be felt when the' present players were crafted out into the schools. The committee hoped that Soccer in' the Training College would go from strength to strength.
