Australia As Prize LONDON, August 1. The Shanghai correspondent of “The Times” states that Japanese army officers are continuing to foster antiBritish feeling and are telling the Chinese that the Tokio negotiations are proof of Britain’s inability to fight aud that Australia is theirs for the taking if the Orientals unite. ■ The British Consulate at Shanghai has vigorously protested to the Japanese Consulate against Japan’s continued incitement of the anti-British movement in Shanghai, based on statements- which are false from beginning to end.
