MEAT FOR THE ARMY
Reliance On Dominions LONDON, August 1. In reply to a question in the House of Commons, the Minister of War, Mr. Hore-Belisha, said that financial and -administrative reasons made it impossible to depart from the policy of relying mainly on meat from the Dominions for the army. To use home-produced meat would cost £1.000,000 extra a year.
