Display In Women’s
Section
A space allocation of 700 square feet was made to the loans committee at a recent meeting of the women's section of the Centennial Exhibition. The president, Mrs. T. C. A. Hislop, was in the chair. Asking for the allocation, the loans committee stated that it was required for the purpose of showing antiques and articles of special historical interest. Indications were that the display would be of Dominion-wide appeal. The lectures and demonstrations committee reported that one monthly lecture in the women's ' section hall would be given by each of the three
sub-committees covering domestic science—home science, nursing, and child welfare. One monthly lecture also would be given by each of the subcommittees dealing with women’s professional and occupational subjects. It was intended later to appoint a schedules committee to co-ordinate lecture and demonstration programmes.
