PARTIAL AGREEMENT
New Award Sought By Plumbers Agreement on a number of minor clauses and on. Fours for all. workers with the exception of ship workers was reached in Wellington yesterday, when discussions were concluded between representatives of the employers and workers in the plumbing and gasfitting industry. No finality, however, could be reached on the major issues of wages, holidays, country and suburban work and the term of the award, all of which, along with other disputed matters were referred to the Court: of Arbitration.
