('Received December 8. 11.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, December 8. Good general competition was displayed at today’s wool auctions, prices continuing firm. Comebacks and crossbreds also met with a. good inquiry. Greasy merino made 21jd. Tlie offering consisted of 12,063 bales, of which 11,230 were sold, also 1144 privately. The average price of wool for the first three days this week was £l3/13/5/ a bale, or lid. a pound.
